Perfect Wilderness Tours & Safari Experiences

Tanzania’s wildlife doesn’t follow templates. Neither do our safaris. For over twenty years, we’ve crafted wilderness tours and safaris that respond to actual conditions – tracking migration patterns, positioning guests in prime wildlife areas, and adjusting itineraries to what’s happening today, not what happened last year.

Our Tanzania-based team operates daily across the Northern Circuit. We know the ground, the guides, and the lodges. This direct knowledge translates into better safari experiences for every guest we serve.

Real-Time Wildlife Knowledge

We track migration patterns weekly, know which camps deliver during which seasons, and adjust recommendations based on current conditions rather than last year's assumptions.

Tanzania-Based Expertise

Based in Arusha, we operate daily across the Northern Circuit. Local presence means real-time knowledge of wildlife movements, road conditions, and lodge availability.

Flexible Itineraries

Whether you're planning a classic Northern Circuit adventure or an extended wilderness exploration, our approach remains the same: build the safari that makes sense for your timing and interests.

Frequently Asked Questions About Tanzania Safaris

Your complete guide to designing an unforgettable safari experience

Tanzania safari costs vary based on accommodation level, duration, and season. Budget camping safaris start around $200-300 per person per day, mid-range lodge safaris run $350-500 per day, and luxury safaris range from $600-1,500+ per day.

A typical 7-day mid-range safari costs $2,500-3,500 per person, excluding international flights. Peak season (June-October, December-February) commands premium pricing due to optimal wildlife viewing conditions.

The best time for a Tanzania safari is during the dry season from June to October when wildlife concentrates around water sources, making animals easier to spot. The Great Migration river crossings typically occur July-September in the northern Serengeti.

The short dry season (January-February) offers excellent wildlife viewing with lush green landscapes and the calving season in the southern Serengeti. The wet seasons (March-May, November) offer lower prices and fewer crowds.

Our Tanzania safari packages typically include: airport transfers, professional English-speaking safari guide, 4×4 safari vehicle with pop-up roof, park entrance fees, accommodation, all meals during safari, and drinking water.

Not typically included: international flights, travel insurance, visa fees ($50 for most nationalities), tips for guides and lodge staff, personal expenses, and optional activities like balloon safaris or walking safaris.

Yes, Tanzania is one of the safest East African countries for tourists. The safari circuit (Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire, Lake Manyara) has an excellent safety record. We’ve been operating safaris safely for over 14 years.

As with any travel, we recommend standard precautions: travel with a reputable operator, follow your guide’s instructions, keep valuables secure, and have comprehensive travel insurance. Our TATO-licensed status ensures we meet all safety standards.

Yes! Tanzania is one of the best destinations to see all Big Five: lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino. The Ngorongoro Crater offers the best chance to see all five in a single day, with its dense population of wildlife in a contained area.

The Serengeti has excellent populations of lions, leopards, elephants, and buffalo. Black rhinos are rarer but can be spotted in Ngorongoro and the northern Serengeti. A 5-7 day safari gives you excellent odds of seeing all Big Five.
