Starting and ending in Zanzibar, the safari offers the chance to explore three parks at the northern circuit: Tarangire, Ngorongoro, & Manyara. You’ll stay at the Escarpment Luxury Lodge. Available from early November to December at a discounted rate, the parks are less crowded, and ideal for wildlife spotting and photography as the landscape turns green. The offer includes round-trip flights from Zanzibar to Arusha, a guide, meals, a private 4×4 safari vehicle, and hotel pick-up/drop-off.

Early in the morning, pick-up time depends on your hotel’s location in Zanzibar, our driver will take you to the airport for an 8:00 am flight from Zanzibar to Arusha. Upon arrival at 9:15 am, our driver-guide will drive you to Tarangire National Park, about 1.5 hours from Arusha, while sharing insights about the history and culture of Arusha and the Maasai people.
Tarangire National Park is well known for its biodiversity including, large elephant herds, consisting of a diversity of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savanna with the Tarangire River wending its way through the parklands.
Once the game drive is done, you will drive back to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and your overnight stay.
In the afternoon, you will enjoy your packed lunch inside the park.
The game drive ends at 4:00 pm. You’ll drive to the lodge for dinner and relaxation.
After a delicious breakfast, you’ll set off for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, renowned for its breathtaking scenery and rich wildlife. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ngorongoro is a treasure trove of natural and cultural wonders.
Once you descend into the crater, you’ll have an excellent chance to spot the Big Five: majestic lions, herds of buffalos, elephants roaming freely, elusive leopards, and the rare black rhino. Keep an eye out for vibrant bird species, including flamingos in the crater lakes, and take in the stunning landscapes that surround you.
After your thrilling game drives, you’ll head to the lodge for a delightful dinner and a restful overnight stay. Get ready for an unforgettable experience!
You’ll rise and shine with a delicious breakfast at 7:00 AM, as today marks the end of our safari adventure. You’ll depart for Manyara National Park, situated at the base of the Great Rift Valley. This park is famous for its diverse landscapes and wildlife, including iconic tree-climbing lions, majestic elephants, graceful giraffes, and a wide array of bird species around the alkaline Lake Manyara.
Prepare for a captivating game drive as you explore lush forests and open savannahs, soaking in the beauty of this unique ecosystem.
Later, you’ll return to Arusha Airport for your flight back to Zanzibar at 4:30 PM. It’s been an incredible journey!
