Early at 6:00 AM (pick-up time may vary based on your hotel’s location in Zanzibar), our driver will take you to the airport for your 8:00 AM flight from Zanzibar to Arusha. You will arrive at 9:15 AM, where our driver-guide will be waiting to take you to Tarangire National Park, about 1.5 hours away from Arusha. Along the way, they will share insights about the history and culture of Arusha and the Maasai people.
Tarangire National Park is renowned for its rich biodiversity, including large herds of elephants and a variety of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savannahs, with the Tarangire River winding through the park. You may have the chance to see a lion stalking its prey or leopards lounging in the trees above.
After your game drive, you’ll return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.
After a delicious breakfast, you will set off for the Ngorongoro Crater. Here, you can expect to see a variety of wildlife, including a pride of lions, herds of buffalo, elephants, leopards, and black rhinos. You might also spot various bird species, such as flamingos in the crater lakes, all amidst the stunning natural environment of the crater. Be prepared to encounter an array of wild animals in a very short time.
After your game drives, you’ll return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
You’ll rise and shine with a delicious breakfast at 7:00 AM, as today marks the end of your safari. You will then depart for Manyara National Park, nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley. This park is renowned for its diverse landscapes and is home to iconic tree-climbing lions, elephants, giraffes, and various bird species around the alkaline Lake Manyara.
You will enjoy a captivating game drive, exploring lush forests and open savannahs.
Later, you will return to Arusha Airport for your flight back to Zanzibar at 4:30 PM.
